KBW01 bending tool set for medium-voltage cables
The KBW01 bending tool was developed in collaboration with grid operators Enexis, Stedin, and Alliander.
This tool simplifies bending thick medium-voltage cables up to 1000mm², even in confined spaces like basements.

Operation:
Determine the minimum bending radius according to factory specifications
Match the desired radius to the cable length between bending points
Place the tool between the marked points
Bend the cable with the jack in the middle
Use the torque amplifier and a cordless screwdriver to roll between the points
Repeat until the desired 90 degree bend is achieved
This process quickly becomes very intuitive. The end result is a smooth bend without cable damage.
