The Metzner KL-BV cuts powerfully but with minimal impact on the material, making it an ideal medical tube cutting machine. It is also perfect for industries with similarly high demands. The most important features of the KL-BV are the extremely thin blade, set at a selectable angle, and the precise pressure setting for particularly direct yet gentle cuts. Also available in stainless steel. You can choose between the KL-BV, which processes materials up to 18 mm | 0.7″ in diameter, and the KL-BV 40, which cuts material up to 40 mm | 1.6″ in diameter. With the latter, you can also choose whether the soft materials and medical tube cutting machine should work horizontally or vertically. The vertical design is advantageous if you also process material that sticks easily. Thanks to gravity, this automatically falls out of the machine.
APPLICATIONS
We developed the Metzner KL-BV medical tube cutting machine to cut fine and thin as well as elastic and pressure-sensitive medical tubes, both with high speed and precision. In doing so, we have focused primarily on the needs of medical tube manufacturers and other industries with semilar demands.

Precise cut into the tube with slim, angled blade and speed control
The Metzner KL-BV medical tube cutting also has speed control. The feed speed can be reduced so that the length accuracy is further improved for smaller tubes of 30 mm length, for example. It is available with punch, shear and draw cutting knife. Of course, the Metzner KL-BV is also available in a stainless steel version. A version for clean rooms is also an option. Not only for these, but also for an improved CO2 footprint, the KL-BV medical tube cutting machine can also be supplied with electric drive instead of compressed air.
