The stretched winding portals from Ramatech
Ramatech’s stretched winding gantries are automated cable winding machines for cable drums. A winding line consists of an unwinding gantry and a winding gantry with a stationary laying unit. In contrast to the electric and hydraulic gantry series, it is not the laying unit that traverses with the cable, but the clamped target drum.
In addition, the loading and unloading process can be considerably accelerated by the lateral cross offset, as a circuit is created: In the right-hand position of the automatic cable winder, the cable drum is (automatically) loaded into the gantry, in the middle the gantry winds and on the left the drum is unloaded from the gantry again. Loading and unloading is carried out manually or automatically with our floor-supported feeding system or with a trolley.
The quills are automatically centered and clamp and lift the cable drums hydraulically. The operator can monitor the entire rewinding process with the camera.
